Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Cantine Dei

DESCRIPTION: The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has a brilliant ruby color, tending to garnet with aging, the nose has intense aromas, ethereal, ripe cherry, plum and violet, sapid, balanced and persistent, with soft and velvety tannins.
VINES: Based on Sangiovese and other complementary red berry varieties.
Mixed clay, tufaceous
Production area: Vigna Martiena, La Ciarliana and La Piaggia.
Altitude: 250 – 350 meters s.l.m.
Average age of the vines: 15 years
VINIFICATION TECHNIQUE: Soft pressing; spontaneous fermentation with use of indigenous yeasts in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 26-28 ° C; maceration on the skins for 15-25 days with pumping over.
MATURATION AND AGING TECHNIQUE: To be regulated 24 months of maturation of which 12/18 months in wood and aging in bottle
