Opens with aromas of ripe fruit with black and red berries, followed by hints of Mediterranean herbs and sweet spices. On the palate it is rich and persistent with a long, balsamic finish.
From the friendship that binds the owners of Avignonesi in Montepulciano and Capannelle in Chianti, comes their sought-after 50&50 wine. The first vintage of the 50&50 was 1988: during a jovial dinner, the owners of the two cellars began to compare their wines and obtained this exceptional blend of 50% Sangiovese di Capannelle and 50% Merlot di Avignonesi. Aceto in Italy is (not) only made in Modena. The Natali family wanted to dispel this myth by starting to produce quality vinegar in Tuscany. With the arrival of the new generation in the company and the idea of exploiting the knowledge of natural fermentations that had always been used at home for wine, the production turned to vinegar. A winning intuition that in just a few years has led this company to become the most important in the region, with the Acetoscana brand. Sangiovese grapes are harvested in the Chianti hills. Vinification and fermentation, which are essential to obtain a quality vinegar, are constantly controlled and managed in a natural way. The key part of the process is a slow acetic fermentation at a constant temperature that requires long periods of time and continuous controls, carried out using a superficial static method, reminiscent of the ancient Orleans method.

Orto Fortunato:
In Valdichiana, the tradition of Aglione has continued for centuries, reaching the present day and remaining present in traditional cuisine in many recipes.
Since Etruscan times, this particular species of garlic has marked the culinary tradition of inland Tuscany.
Remaining in the hearts of traditional families in Valdichiana and Val D'Orcia, it has managed to survive to the present day. The black chickpea is characterised by its distinctive dark colour, intense flavour and creamy texture. The skin is thicker than that of other varieties and makes the black chickpea more suitable for preparations with mashed or blended vegetables.

The aim is to practise organic farming, creating a microcosm that is sustainable both ecologically and economically and socially. Explosive olfactory impact. The wide aromatic bouquet ranges from cherry and plum jam to notes of black tea, rhubarb and graphite, with small final notes of fermented tobacco. The palate is invested by the imposing and typical structure of Tuscan Merlot wrapping and warm. Tastefully in symbiosis with the olfactory notes, the dense and linear tannin accompanies nuances of coconut and black pepper in the back.
A 100% Merlot wine that is perfect to pair game meat recipes. Desiderio was a bull who lived on the Le Capezzine farm in Avignonesi more than a hundred years ago. The largest bull in Tuscany at that time, this majestic animal contributed to defining the Chianina cattle breed, specific of the Bistecca Fiorentina. It was a natural choice to dedicate this Merlot to the beloved bull as a testimony of the origin of the wines. This is Merlot from Tuscany at its best.

Florentine Chianina steak:
Chianina meat has always been considered among the finest, tastiest and most sought-after meats in the world. Chianina beef Florentine is characterized by a meat that is tender, succulent and full of flavor. Its color is a vivid dark red, while the grain is quite fine and compact. The presence of good intramuscular marble gives the meat a soft texture and intense flavor.
Sergio Falaschi
Sergio Falaschi is a piece of history in the small village of San Miniato. Butchers since 1925, the Falaschi family contributed to the pork butchering tradition of Tuscany and are still today ambassadors and guardians of ancient Tuscan traditions. They are famous for processing games and producing excellent cured meats, including the Finocchiona IGP. Their pride and joy, however, is the Mallegato di Pisa, a product so exceptional and unique that it is among the region’s slow food presidia.

The wine reveals notes of blueberries, blackberries, incense, herbs, and sandalwood. With hints of blackberry jam and cinnamon. The palate develops like a balsamic explosion supported by a strong acidity. The lively tannin on the whole palate accompanies the savoury and persistent finish.
An incredible blend where the freshness of Sangiovese (50%) blends perfectly with the backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%). Another excellent example of a great blend for aging.

The producer, Avignonesi extend in the Montepulciano and Cortona areas (in the Val di Chiana in the province of Arezzo) ensuring a diversified spectrum of soils that allows the production of a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano that authentically expresses the complexity of the terroir, while the Val di Chiana is suitable for the cultivation of other grape varieties such as Merlot, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Frateria San benedetto stands in the Sienese countryside linking Montepulciano to Chianciano Terme; it has ancient origins, it was used by the Romans as a ‘rest-home’ during long journeys. Today it has been completely restructured and has undergone innovations that have ensured a good development of the farm itself; in addition to having its own agriturismo, the farm is mainly involved in the organic cultivation of fruit trees, in particular the local wild plum, known as ‘la Coscia Di Monaca’ throughout Tuscany and beyond. Their fruit is also used to make traditional jams without the addition of sugar or additives, guaranteeing a healthy and tasty product to take straight to your table.Unlike the consortium, the certaldo onion has very ancient origins, it was in fact already mentioned by Boccaccio in the famous Decameron for its taste and extraordinary characteristics.
The producers’ consortium acts as guarantor and guardian for the preservation and continuation of this excellence, also acting as custodian of the onion seeds (in the two varieties Vernina and Statina) and are also registered with the region as such.

Martiena has a lively straw-yellow colour. Delicate but intense flowery fragrances and a harmonious taste. Drink chilled.
A blend of local grapes, malvasia 70% grechetto 20% trebbiano 10% It is perfect for aperitifs and meals with friends based on Pasta, Vegetables and of course Fish. Tuscany is rightly recognized as a land of great red wines, but despite this name, some producers, such as the Cantine Dei, in addition to producing great red wines, have engaged in the production of great white wines, using all their experience. The Martiena is also known as one of the ambassadors of the Tuscan white wines.
