Shipment - Info

How do we ship the products?

Tommaso

Wine, Vinegar and olive Oil: They are shipped in safe cardboard packaging, specially designed and patented by third-party companies, from which we obtain supplies.

Jams, sauces, ragu, and others: They are wrapped in wooden packaging straw thus protecting your products from any inconvenience during transport.

Pasta: The pasta, as well as the sauces and jams, will be shipped in maximum safety thanks to the wooden packing straw.

Fresh Truffles: Passione Toscana does not directly ship fresh truffles, these shipments are made directly by the San Miniato truffle hunters on the morning of collection. By doing so, we guarantee the highest quality, as the truffle can be consumed within 7-8 days of collection

Cheeses: The cheeses are all vacuum-packed or in heat-sealed packaging.

Cold cuts: We ship cold cuts and cheeses providing us with all the necessary precautions to maintain the quality of the product.

Do we use refrigerated transport?

Tommaso

No, all the products we sell are seasoned and by law they must not be transported at controlled temperature in a refrigerated truck. The temperature does not affect the quality of the products but it is the sudden temperature change that deteriorates the quality.

We ship with BRT-DPD, GLS and DHL, based on your location.

As soon as the order is shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking code.

If an order is placed on the weekend (or on holidays) or Thursday, the preparation and subsequent shipment will be made on the first available working day. If you pay by bank transfer, your order will not be shipped until payment is received in our bank account. When you place the order, leave an address where you are sure to be there at the time of delivery, otherwise the package will be taken to a collection center In the event of seasonal peaks, the preparation and delivery times could stretch. We advise you to order in advance. The producers are artisanal and small, have production times that can vary and be longer than normal. What is the difference between classic, fast and express shipping?

Tommaso

What is the difference beetwen Basic, Fast and Express shipping? in phase of checkout, in order to give an ulterior service to our customers, we give the possibility to choose the modality of transport in base to the own requirements.

Basic: is the cheapest courier but also the slowest, on average takes from 48h to 4 working days (islands and south) in Italy and 4-5 days for Europe.

Fast: from 24H to 3 working days (islands and south) in Italy and 3-4 working days for foreign countries.

Express: your package will travel by air and arrive within 3 working days anywhere in the world. The timing for Italy are 24H and 48H for Europe.

**Important**
– the timing of shipment are calculated from the time of notification of shipment and not from the time of your order.

As soon as your package is shipped you will receive a confirmation email and the tracking code from the shipper shortly after.

– the type of fast and express shipping is recommended if all the products you ordered are available and not “available on order”. because the time to find these products will delay the time of departure of 48H on average.
