How does the shipping work?

After the order we prepare the shipping in 24-48 hours and delivery within Europe usually takes 3 to 5 days if all products are available.

Orders received Thursday through Sunday or on a holiday will be processed on the first available business day.

Express shipping is available with DHL that takes 24/48 hours to arrive at your destination, you can select this option at checkout.

Delivery times may vary if any of the products ordered are “Back ordered” and also during seasonal peaks such as holidays or due to courier strikes.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping for your orders in the following ways:

Italy: above 79€ of order and under 150kg
EU zone 1: over 139.99€ and under 20kg
EU zone 2: over 149.99€ and under 20kg
EU zone 3: above 179.99€ and under 20kg

The weight of the orders is automatically calculated by the website, including the net weight of the product and the various packaging.

Under no circumstances will free shipping be applied to orders containing 1 or more products in the category “butcher shop” because they are shipped non-Standard but always express DHL 24/48h.

How is the fresh meat shipped? (Products belonging to the butcher category)

Order with Fresh Meat can not have the free shipping.

Fresh meat is packaged exclusively to order, as written inside the products.
Once we receive your order, the meat will be vacuum-packed, especially for you.

Fresh meat is shipped only on Mondays or Tuesdays by DHL express courier.
Our site automatically applies express shipping garlic orders containing products in the category “Butcher’s shop”

The cost of express shipping is automatically calculated based on the weight of the products in the “butcher” category that are in your shopping cart.

At the discretion of the Passione Toscana staff, the shipment (if containing other products not in the butcher category) could be distributed in two boxes (the second shipping is of course free).

This means that you may receive the express products 2-3 days earlier or later than the standard ones, depending on the date you send and order.

We recommend ordering these products on Monday or Tuesday of the week before the date you would like to receive and consume the Fresh Meat.

Do you use refrigerated transport?

No, all the products we sell are seasoned and under vaacum. They do not need to be transported at controlled temperature in a refrigerated truck. The temperature does not affect the quality of the products but it is the sudden temperature change that deteriorates the quality.

However, in the summer for additional safety we can use dry ice and other protections to ensure an even more careful service.

How do we ship the products?

Wine, Vinegar and olive Oil: They are shipped in safe cardboard packaging, specially designed and patented by third-party companies, from which we obtain supplies.

Jams, sauces, ragu, and others: They are wrapped in wooden packaging straw thus protecting your products from any inconvenience during transport.

Pasta: The pasta, as well as the sauces and jams, will be shipped in maximum safety thanks to the wooden packing straw.

Fresh Truffles: Passione Toscana does not directly ship fresh truffles, these shipments are made directly by the San Miniato truffle hunters on the morning of collection. By doing so, we guarantee the highest quality, as the truffle can be consumed within 7-8 days of collection

Cheeses: The cheeses are all vacuum-packed or in heat-sealed packaging.

Cold cuts: We ship cold cuts and cheeses providing us with all the necessary precautions to maintain the quality of the product.

Are our packaging environmentally sustainable?

Yes, absolutely! Passione Toscana Since November 2019, it has adopted the 100% green Eco-sustainable packaging policy, through three simple steps: the use of exclusively cardboard boxes, wooden straw for packaging, eco-sustainable adhesive tape.

I have not yet received my order and I have no more news, why?

If you have not yet received communications regarding the shipment of the order, It means that it is still being prepared because one or more products are Backordered. For information on this, please contact us via email or live chat and we will be happy to assist you!

What is a back-ordered product?

The products in back-order are products that you can buy on Passione Toscana but that are not in our warehouse (at the time of your order).

You can still order them, even if there will be a delay in delivery compared to the normal standard time of 48h.

In the product page, in the cart and in the order confirmation email you will find information about the availability of the products.
