Nobile di Montepulciano Villa Sant’Anna, Tasting notes:
Ruby red in colour with garnet hues, the nose is intense and complex, with hints of fruit preserved in alcohol, dried flowers and spices. In the mouth it is soft, warm, with a dense tannic texture and persistence.
Nobile di Montepulciano Villa Sant’Anna
Nobile di Montepulciano is one of the most important appellations of Tuscan viticulture. Made from Sangiovese grapes and other red grape varieties indigenous to the region, it aims to pass on the area’s tradition and the quality of its wines. After a long maturation process in wood of 2 years and a refinement in the bottle of 1 year, the Nobile di Montepulciano from the Villa Sant’Anna cellar is a tribute to this wonderful land.
Villa Sant’Anna is an Italian winery located in Montepulciano, Tuscany. Founded in 1971 by Giuseppe and Silvana Bianchini, the winery has a history that goes back long before its creation.Over the years, the estate passed from hand to hand, until it was bought by the Bianchini family in 1971. Giuseppe and Silvana Bianchini decided to dedicate themselves to grape growing and wine production, with the aim of creating high quality wines that were an authentic expression of the Tuscan terroir.Their focus on quality and environmental sustainability led them to adopt organic farming methods and to limit the use of chemicals. Thanks to this approach, Villa Sant’Anna was one of the first wineries in Tuscany to obtain organic certification.
