It is only after 120 days of maturing that one can appreciate the balance between a slightly crumbly consistency and an intensely sweet, long-lasting flavor. A privilege that is due to the green pastures of Pienza.

Important: The Pecorino Cheese is a handmade product, and as such is different in weight from shape to shape.
Half Pecorino cheeses may also differ slightly in weight.

TASTING SUGGESTIONS
A drizzle of olive oil on bread and is exalted. It goes very well with honey and compotes and does not offend when grated. It goes well with medium to well structured red wines.

Storage conditions
Store in the refrigerator at 0-4°C. After opening consumes within a few days and preserve the cheese with food-grade film.
