About The Producer, Capua Winery :
The Capua Winery was born from an idea of its founders Riccardo and Natasha Capua to identify in a particular terroir of the Maremma-Toscana in the Albegna valley near Saturnia ideal microclimatic conditions to experience the breeding and winemaking of a multivarietal range of native and international vines .
In its six hectares of vineyards, the Capua Winery grows Alicante, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay and Sangiovese.
All these varieties are brought with great care to their right maturity, collected and vinified separately, as well as high in very precious woods and finally expertly assembled to create TuttoCuore, Fiammante, DolceAmore and MioSogno, the flagship wines of Capua Winery.
All the production steps, from the management of the work in the vineyard to the cellar activities, are carried out with maniacal precision, following the natural microclimatic diversity of each season, in order to be able to take full advantage of the advantages that a particular vintage can offer also with regard to certain varieties. All the settings, from the cellar rooms to the bottle refinement rooms, are differently air conditioned and set up in such a way as to give the wine the best conditions in every important phase of its maturation and growth.
Experimentation is therefore the characteristic trait of the Capua Winery which, regardless of the fads and always volatile tastes of the market, aims to continue the research in order to identify the perfect combination, the ideal harmony, between terroir and variety that can raise their wines to the highest quality levels in terms of aromas, elegance and concentrations.
