Tuscan Finocchina Tommaso Giordana:
This Tuscan Salami was born in the Chianti valley and is famous for the fennel seeds that give it a unique flavor and make it a special product.
The Finocchina has its roots even in the early Middle Ages. The recipe has been handed down to the present day, from father to son, from artisan to apprentice.
About the producer, Tommaso Giordana :
The Tommaso Giordana farm is located in an area near the Maremma Natural Park, in the municipality of Magliano in Toscana and was born from the idea of Tommaso Giordana to put his knowledge into pratic, in fact, Tommaso Giordana had already had experience with Pigs in cooperation with the University.
The company produces organic IGP Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, fresh meat and cold cuts without gluten and without the use of chemicals (preservatives, antioxidants, etc.) with long natural and traditional seasoning times.
Their breeding respects the nature and instinct of the pigs that live in the wild growing without the use of antibiotics and fed with natural feed produced on the farm therefore free of GMOs.
The breeding is composed of a harem made up of a boar and several sows who give birth each in its own nursery with hut and outdoor space. The piglets remain with their mothers until old age and are then moved to the larger spaces. Tommaso Giordana, therefore, produces high-quality salami and cold cuts.
