About the producer, Fattoria La Maliosa :

Fattoria La Maliosa is a project based on the choice of quality, beauty and environmental healthiness while respecting the territory and its originality.

A farm that extends over about 160 hectares in the hilly Maremma. Vineyards, olive groves, arable land and woods for an artisanal production of natural wines and extra virgin olive oil. The company has been certified organic since 2010, a testament to its constant commitment over time, and since 2015 it has also obtained Vegan certification for greater transparency towards customers who choose with awareness.

Harvesting takes place separately for each variety at the time of optimal maturity, starting in October. Extraction takes place cold at a temperature of 26°C in a continuous cycle mill.

Fattoria La Maliosa produces fine oils with a high health value and a high content of polyphenols, antioxidants and low acidity. We publish nutritional analyses annually.
It is also committed to recovering the original varieties that are historically rooted in the territory. The historical olive groves consist of approximately 180 trees of 80-100 years of age. The distance between the olive trees (10 – 12 metres), the favourable exposure and the breezy climate favour a limited, high-quality production. There are typical Tuscan cultivars such as: Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccio del Corno, Moraiolo and Pendolino.
